Mothers Dining

I ordered a spicy serving of beef chuck and ribs accompanied by tatoe butter salad and Asian fried rice from Mothers Dining, a home-delivery food caterer based in Lusaka.

The tatoe butter salad looked a lot like mashed potato with a good serving of cubed veggies and butter. The Asian rice and tatoe butter salad were well seasoned and quite delicious to chew in separate sittings. I also appreciated that the meats was tender.

However, the meats all tasted the same because the same basting / sauce was used and it was a tad bit too salty for my preference. In addition, eating the meats, tatoe butter salad and Asian fried rice in one sitting was not rousing as the spices in each meal were very distinct and did not complement each other.

Overall, I think Mothers Dining have a good thing going in the flavour department but I felt there needed to be a balance when all foodstuffs are plated. I’ll definitely be ordering in soon to get another bite.

My Review:
