High ceilings, a mural and minimalist outlay with pleasant essence floating in the air, these elements all worked together to create the ambience for enjoying the hearty sweet treats that Lemon Gourmet Desserts has to offer. This spot shares same space as Pepper SteakHouse and it gave me such ‘all day brunch’ vibes.
They collectively serve selections of beef and chicken dishes, burgers, wraps, sandwiches, pasta and of course an array of sweet treats for many palettes. I liked that they even have a selection of kids meals which means they can cater for the entire families dining needs. I ordered the waffles with berries and ice cream as a treat for my starved sweet tooth and the strawberry smoothie to bring the berry brunch full circle.
This is one of the nicer waffles I’ve had in a while. It was freshly prepared and the chocolate sauce wasn’t too sweet or in served excess so as to make the waffles soggy, plus the blueberries and strawberries added the right tang and sweetness to it all!
💡 I would recommend that they add some lounge music that matches the ambiance to set the tone, drown out the blenders churning the fruity shakes and the fidgets / clings of the crockery which broadcasts an unpleasant ring in the lovely space.
