I had the chance to visit by the World In Motion Exhibition at the Art Shop, highlighting the brilliant work of Daudi M. Yves. The exhibit was Daudi’s expression on the themes of change, self-reflection and enlightenment.
Daudi acknowledges that we can sometimes blindy follow others and get to a place of harshly judging ourselves and others if do not keep an open mind. He further acknowledges the struggle we sometimes face to keep our minds open in the era of rapidly evolving technology and social trends. With the world ultimately remaining in motion, he illustates the value of community, being compassionate, intentionally facing life’s mirrors and choosing happiness.
The exhibition thoughtfully encourages us to be at a place where we consciously take time to reflect as we endevour to broaden our views and think beyond the box.
