Adventures with BoBoBongz

The Lechwe Art Gallery is in the heart of Rhodes Park, Lusaka at the Gallery Office Park. The gallery is run by the Lechwe Trust which was established over 30 years ago and now owns over 300 works of art in its collection.

The Lechwe gallery has previously showcased several art exhibitions with different forms of art and I recently spent some time there enjoying the ‘Our day-to-day lives seen through the eyes of Children from Kasisi home’ exhibition. All the pieces from the exhibition are still on sale and proceeds would support the young artists. Later next month, the gallery will be showcasing several emeging artists from around the country, who entered the Cynthia Zukas Young Artists Awards (CZYAA). I cannot wait to see the different forms of self expression that will be featured and who will take the 2022 prize. Look out for my recap.
