Meraki Central

This spot is located in the café district of the Rhodes Park area of Lusaka, it was recently re-opened after it underwent a facelift. I think the new space looks pretty inviting for dates and meetings plus the service is a lot better too.

Meraki Central serves sandwiches, breakfast, quick bites wraps, pasta, burgers, meaty options, platters, salad options, buddha bowls and vegan meals. They also have raw juices, summer coolers, fruit smoothies milkshakes, fruit juices, soda’s, teas and coffees, cakes and some sweet treats. I ordered the steak mushroom, boiled egg, beetroot and avocado buddha bowl. I was not up for boiled eggs so I switched the boiled eggs for butternut instead. I also ordered the chocolate amarula cake the power potion; which was raw juice made from ginger, beetroot, orange, lemon and carrot.

The power potion was so refreshing, it woke my insides up nice nice. The buddha bowl was great but the beef strips needed to be tenderised as they were rather tough and the chocolate amarula cake was not as tantalising as I hoped, it was rather dry and even the cream was crumbly, perhaps it was not necessarily freshly prepared?
