This new installation at Lusaka’s East Park mall is a dash of fresh seasoning to the food circuit. The bistro bar has a hip outlay and trendy vibe that is versatile for both in-and-outdoor dining.
We ordered the signature beef burger, Greek salad, pork chop and chef’s garden waffles. Dacapo was able to cater to the dietary needs of my friend who is banting, by tailoring the pork menu option to her delight. We didn’t even realise how quickly the time flew as our food was out of the kitchen in reasonable time.
The beef burger was moist and fresh. Everything from the bun to the sauces and blend of cheese worked harmoniously. I got a little nibble of the pork and Greek salad too and I was impressed by the blend of flavours and texture. I especially liked that they served the original Greek salad which had zero lettuce and no Greek salad dressing, just plain old veggies full of flavour. Such detail!👌🏽.
The chef’s garden waffles were equally scrumptious and well plated. They had a good balance of crunch, sweet, tangy, and lest I forget, that gooey chocolatey sauce with the little chocolate shrooms 😩. We dug into those plates like there was no end in sight. Overall great food, great vibe, great spot!
